Privacy policy

Who we are

alisonbel runs this online shop and is responsible for the personal data collected through it (the “personal information controller” under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, Republic Act No. 10173). Our contact details are at the end of this page. The shop owner acts as our data protection officer.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, email address, mobile number, delivery address and delivery notes, what you ordered, how you chose to pay and, for GCash / bank transfers, the reference number you send us.
• When you review a product (optional): the name you choose to show, your rating, comment and any photos. Photos are re-saved before storing, which removes hidden data such as the location where they were taken.
• Your cart is kept in your own browser until you check out; we don’t receive it before then.
• Technical data: to stop abuse (for example, someone guessing order numbers), our server briefly remembers the internet address of each request for a few minutes. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security.

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t run analytics on you. The only cookie this site sets is a login cookie for our own staff. We never see your bank, e-wallet or card login: you pay in your own app.

Why we use it

• To process your order: confirm your payment, pack and ship it, and contact you about it.
• To handle cancellations, returns, refunds and warranty questions.
• To keep the records that tax and accounting rules require.
• To protect the shop and our customers from fraud and abuse.
• To show your review on our site, if you choose to write one.

We use your data because it’s needed to fulfil your order, to meet our legal obligations, for our legitimate interest in keeping the shop secure, and (for reviews) with your consent. We don’t sell your data or send you marketing.

Who we share it with

• J&T Express, our courier: your name, mobile number and delivery address, to deliver your parcel (and collect payment for cash-on-delivery orders).
• Our service providers, who store and run the shop for us under our instructions: Supabase (database and photo storage, servers in Singapore) and Hostinger (website hosting).
• Government authorities, only when the law requires it.

Approved reviews are public on our site: they show the name you chose, your rating, comment and photos, never your email, phone or address.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for your order, returns and warranty, and for as long as tax and accounting rules require us to keep sales records. Unpaid orders that cancel themselves are kept with the rest of our records. Reviews stay up until you ask us to remove them. Internet addresses used against abuse are forgotten within minutes.

How we protect it

The site only works over a secure (HTTPS) connection. Order details are visible only to you, through your private order link, and to our staff, who each have their own login. Our database blocks everyone else by default. We review the site’s security regularly and keep its software up to date.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:

• be informed about how your data is used (this page);
• access the personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
• have wrong or incomplete data corrected;
• object to processing, and have your data erased or blocked when we no longer need it.
